PROMOTIONAL POSTER

For the poster design i decided to look into 1930's to 1960's horror movie posters. I feel that this keeps in continuity with the design of the logo and the controversial theme of the t-shirts.

STILL NOT SURE

To choose a suitable design that represented the brand was a very tough choice, so I stood back and researched into what my competition logos looked like.

Evidently allot of the designs are really simple with not too much going on in them, and by doing so the brands can be more creative when incorporating the logos into the designs of the t-shirts.So I think this is were I have been going wrong because I have been designing around the brand name but really i need to focus on simplicity of the design making the name the main focal point so my market can recognise the brand name on its own.

CHOOSING A DESIGN

This 1940's pin up style design really gripped me, It looks like a mature but cheeky design which I can create many different styles and designs for the t-shirt designs. These designs are my final ideas for the brand.

CHOOSING A BRAND NAME

It was a tough decission choosing a brand name that represented the controversial theme of the brand. It did want the brand to represent the reversible u.s.p but instead focus on having a more interesting and clever name for the brand instead.
The comments left helped me decide on what brand name to go for...The Sweetest Taboo!
It was the most clever name out the others and had more design potential.
So i decided to create some different designs for the The Sweetest Taboo.

BRAND NAME IDEAS

I have developed some brand names that do not ready exsist in the t-shirt market! The names represent the controversial theme of the t-shirts! I didn’t want the brand name to represent its reversible unique selling point because I wanted the brand to have a controversial theme behind it because that market seemed to be more popular in the market research undertaken
